About Us

Hi, fellow adventurer. We’re Florian and Marcel, two fans of the Vanlife who make outdoor living a constant in our lives. Nothing really compares to being out in nature with friends and loved ones, catching a wave at sunset or taking in the views on a hiking trail. But that requires space to bring all your equipment with you, in a vehicle that’s already small. And time that an unreliable and weak equipment doesn’t give you. Frustrated with heavy, weather-inadequate and too-complex-to-install awnings, we took care of it by sewing our own tarp, and we never looked back. Which is why we’re here, now.

Be the first to know when it's out.

7x Y-Pegs – the universal robust pegs (7075 aluminum)
12x reflective paracord guy ropes with quick rope tensioner (mil-tec quality)

In our email, we will go into more detail. Stay tuned.

We have intentionally designed The Wildside Campervan Tarp to fit all campervans. A roof length of at least 2.5m/8.2ft should be available. If it is slightly shorter, this is not a problem.

It can be mounted either on C-Channel-Awning Rails (also known as piping or Keder) or with a mounting set on the vehicle rims or with suction cups.

We are still working on the last improvements to make it a perfect solution for you. Stay tuned.

Absolutely. This was very important for us. Especially in bad weather, you want to have a protective roof over your head quickly.

In a nutshell – get the duffle bag out of the trunk, mount the vehicle unit to the vehicle, dock the tarp with the waterproof zipper to the vehicle unit, tension two guy ropes, and set two poles – done. With a little practice, it will be ready in less than 5 minutes.

Sounds complicated? Trust us, it is super easy.

We will soon be making a setup video as well. Stay tuned.

The Kickstarter campaign is planned for August/September.

We will ship The Wildside Campervan Tarp worldwide.

We would be happy if you subscribe to our list. Of course everything without any obligation. This way we can keep you up to date.

Accordingly, general information on the display of Facebook Ads, in the Facebook Data Usage Policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. To control what types of ads are displayed to you within Facebook, you can go to the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions for usage-based advertising settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. The settings are platform-independent, which means they apply to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
